It's been a little over a week since Tracy's mom (Jackie) had a knee replacement. She is doing well with her therapy and has a very good nurse (Kelly). She has exercises to do twice a day and goes to therapy three times a week. She is progressing well, but not fast enough according to her. She is such a busy lady, that it drives her nuts not being able to go head long into her activities. Prior to the surgery, she was one of the ladies that coordinated the kitchen at church. One of her duties was to get volunteers to make salads and pies for funeral dinners and she would also serve the dinners. Well, don't think the surgery would stop her. She was calling to ask for salads and pies from "her couch" just a few days after surgery. You can't keep her down long. I praise God for her and pray for a speedy recovery. "Dad is cooking :)"
Well, It's been a little over a month since I got my motorcycle and I LOVE IT! I added a fork bag to carry my "stuff" and added silver flames to the tail and on the front fender. Since I got it so late in the year, the temperature hasn't been the best. When it is cold, I don't ride. Now Tracy is another story. The other morning, it was 31 degrees and he rode. I am NOT that dedicated.
It is less than a week until the presidential election. We seriously need to pray for our country.
